Climate control modules go by many names: A/C control panel, heater control unit, HVAC control module, temperature control switch, or simply the climate control head. This is the panel in your dash that sets fan speed, temperature, vent position and rear defrost.
Common failure signs
- Buttons or knobs that no longer respond, or backlighting that has burned out
- Blower stuck on one speed, or air stuck on one vent
- Display segments missing or the screen completely dark
Getting the right panel
Climate control panels change with trim level, not just year and model. Automatic climate control, manual A/C, single-zone and dual-zone panels all use different part numbers, and the connector count can differ. Compare the part number on the back of your original unit with the one in the listing, or send us a photo and your VIN and we will check it.
